  • Butter: unsalted butter, cold.
  • Plums: fresh plums, pitted and sliced. Ripe but firm plums, not overripe.
  • Lemon: fresh lemon juice.

How to make easy plum crumble

Preheat oven to 350ºF (180°C).

Place the sliced plums, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and lemon juice in a baking dish, and mix. Set aside.

Process the gluten-free all-purpose flour, sugar, salt, and diced cold butter. If you don’t have a food processor, place them in a medium bowl and toss them with your fingertips until crumbs form.

Sprinkle the crumble over the plums and the chopped toasted almonds, optional.

Bake for about 45-50 minutes, until the topping is golden brown and the peaches are tender and bubbling.

  • 1/2 cup and 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar, divided

  • 1/3 cup cold unsalted butter (75g)
  • Chopped toasted almonds
