  • 8 plums, with peel and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons orange zest
  • 1/2 cup and 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar, divided
  • 1 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour

  • Place the sliced plums, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and lemon juice in a baking dish, and mix. Set aside.
  • Process the gluten-free all-purpose flour, sugar, salt, and diced cold butter. If you don’t have a food processor, place them in a medium bowl and toss them with your fingertips until crumbs form.
  • Sprinkle the crumble over the plums and the chopped toasted almonds, optional.
  • Bake for about 45-50 minutes, until the topping is golden brown and the peaches are tender and bubbling.
  • Serve warm with whipped cream or a scoop of ice cream if desired.
