  • Butter: unsalted butter softened at room temperature.
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Lemon: drops of fresh lemon juice. You can replace the lemon with vanilla extract.

In a medium bowl beat the softened cream cheese, softened butter, sifted powdered sugar, and lemon juice with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.

Storing

Store cream cheese frosting covered in the refrigerator. You can also freeze it in an air-tight container.
