Apple and Blueberry Crumble (Gluten-Free)

Easy gluten-free dessert that never fails. Always best warm with a scoop of ice cream! Perfect to share at the table with family or friends.

- 6 green apples, peeled, seeded, and cubed (Granny Smith)
- 1 orange zest
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1 cup gluten-free flour (GF all-purpose flour, buckwheat flour)
- 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, diced
- Almonds, toasted and chopped
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Place the peeled, seeded, and cubed apples, the blueberries, and the orange zest in a baking dish. I used a glass baking dish oval. Set aside.
In a medium bowl mix the cold diced butter, brown sugar, and GF flour. Rub together with your fingertips until it resembles breadcrumbs.
Sprinkle the crumble and the chopped toasted almonds over the apples.
Bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown and the apples are bubbling.
Served warm with a scoop of ice cream or whipped cream.
