Easy Irish Soda Bread doesn’t require yeast, and this recipe includes raisins. It’s perfect to bake for St. Patrick’s Day or a very good side for your dishes, like risotto, stews, soups, and so on.

Ingredients
The main ingredients of this recipe are:
- Flour: gluten-free all-purpose flour.
- Baking soda: leaving agent.
- Butter: unsalted butter.
- Egg: room temperature egg is better
- Buttermilk: or milk and drops of lemon juice.
- Add-ins: raisins.

How to make easy GF Soda Bread with raisins
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
Sift gluten-free all-purpose flour, salt, baking soda, and sugar in a large bowl.
Rub in the butter with your fingers or a fork, and stir in raisins.
Add the egg and the buttermilk and mix until well incorporated, and fold the dough together.


Place the dough on a lightly greased oven baking sheet. Press the dough into a 20cm round and with a very sharp knife, cut a deep cross in the top of the dough.
Bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown. Keep in mind that all ovens are different.
Let cool before removing to a wire rack.

Storing
Store the bread covered at room temperature for 3 days or in the refrigerator for up to a week. You can also freeze the bread in an air-tight container or freezer bag.
