Ingredients
  

  • 6 apples peeled, seeded, and cubed
  • 1 cup blueberries fresh or frozen
  • ½ orange zest
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup cold unsalted butter diced
  • Almonds toasted and chopped

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • Place the peeled, seeded, and cubed apples, the blueberries, and the orange zest in a baking dish. Set aside.
  • In a medium bowl mix the cold diced butter, brown sugar, sugar, and GF all-purpose flour. Rub together with your fingertips until it resembles breadcrumbs.
  • Sprinkle the crumble and the chopped toasted almonds over the apples.
  • Bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown and the apples are bubbling.
  • Served warm with a scoop of ice cream or whipped cream.
